PSC Group is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Pasadena, TX

Administrative Assistant

Pasadena, TX

PSC Group is a growing industrial services organization looking for a professional, personable, and organized team player to provide direct administrative support to our Operations Team. This position plays a vital role in representing our company and will work in our Corporate Headquarters in Pasadena, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in an administrative support role, and a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Specific Responsibilities:

* Provides a wide variety of direct administrative support to the PSC leadership team, including creating presentations, spreadsheets, and documents and managing calendars and schedules.

* Coordinate travel and itineraries for individual and group travel.

* Event and Meeting Coordination: arranging food and materials, booking facilities, hotel rooms, and activities.

* Collects and analyzes information to create schedules, reports, spreadsheets, graphical data, and presentations using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Assists with purchasing and processing/creation of expense reports.

* Maintains confidential information related to the business.

* Participates in the creation of processes for the broader administrative team.

* Completes any other duties that may be assigned to support the PSC Team.

Job Qualifications:

* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook)

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse customer base.

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

* High degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to ever-changing team needs.

* Ability to work in a team environment.

* Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

* Keen sense of discretion and judgment, professional demeanor, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.

* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

* One year of experience in an administrative support role.

* A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Skills/Qualifications:

* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of internal management, field employees, office staff as well as external customers, vendors, etc.

* High degree of flexibility and may need to flex work schedule earlier or later than normal for some events. Some events are off-site and require local travel.

* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); experience with Access is a plus.

* Ability to juggle multiple tasks using strong organizational skills

* Excellent time management skills and attention to detail in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

* Keen sense of discretion and judgment, professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
