Roles & Responsibilities

Position: Customer Service – Sales Associate

Status: Full-time, Non - Exempt

Department: Sales

Manager: Business Development Manager

Position Summary: Are you looking for a customer support position in the diesel, agricultural, and automotive after-market parts industry. The Customer Support/Sales Associate is responsible for providing a superior experience to PSI Power customers in a fast-paced environment. The Customer Service/Sales Associate provides information on PSI power products and services, with the ability to troubleshoot repair/warranty for Automotive and Ag Product related questions, deliver ETAs and order status and enthusiastic support for PSI’s trade and end-user accounts.

Roles & Responsibilities / Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):

· Document and answer technical calls related to Automotive and Ag module install, troubleshooting, and sales related needs.

· Obtains orders from customers via out-bound and in-bound calls.

· Educates customers on PSI Power electronic products and module applications and recommends product solutions to customers, based on needs assessment and inquiries.

  • Represents PSI at trade shows to promote the PSI Power product offerings, connect with accounts and build brand awareness.

· Collaborates closely with internal departments when needed to answer product related questions.

· Ensures a superior customer experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

· Excellent verbal communication skills with a customer service acumen for communication by phone.

· Ability to acquire advanced knowledge of PSI Power product lines, module applications, pricing structures and parameters for direct sales.

· Familiarity with automotive verbiage and a general knowledge of agriculture and diesel trucks, highly preferred.

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, ability to follow through, driven to succeed, patient, and possess a positive attitude.
  • Moderate computer literacy in an MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) environment required; ability to navigate files and directories, search, copy, delete, move and save.

· Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

· Collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to a team effort.

Education and/or experience:

· Customer service and automotive experience preferred, but not required.

· High School Diploma/GED required

· Associates Degree and 6 months minimum experience with in-bound customer service call center, or relevant combination of education and experience.
