Assists in the lab with routine tasks, tests and evaluations of beauty products to determine compliance with specifications and performance or packaging standards. Tracks testing status, documents results and communicates cross-functionally for all R&D and Package related testing.
Responsiblities

• Responsible for maintaining and documenting testing status and results throughout the entire process
• Responsible managing samples throughout testing process: receipt, testing start, evaluation at required timepoints
• Fill and assemble samples for testing
• Support on additional tasks as needed
• Attention to detail, MS Office experience (Teams, Excel), Flexible in a changing environment, Team player, Good communication skills
• Will be testing personal care/beauty products and varying packaging components, looking for changes in the product over time or non-functioning packaging components.
• Daily tasks: Evaluating test samples and taking care of the lab (tidying up the work benches after testing, putting tools back where they belong, changing chamber charts, pulling samples from the environmental chambers) preparing samples for testing and retaining/cataloging completed test samples, taking pictures as well as addressing QA challenges that come in to the lab to be accessed and retested
• Previous lab experience, curiosity or interest in personal care/beauty products, formulation and production of beauty products, interest in the engineering of packaging components would be a plus!

Requires a 4 year degree
