About being our Signal Technical Consultant

In this part-time, temporary role, you will help with in-field data collection, review, assessment, evaluation and approach to signal maintenance approach and schedule for citywide signal system for a local city.

Responsibility Highlights for our Signal Technical Consultant

• Collect inventory of on-street signal traffic control equipment.
• Collect on-street inventory and RRFBs and warning flashers.
• Collect inventory of CCTV equipment and fiber optic network and assess functionality and connectivity to TMC.
• Assist with TMC equipment design and approach to preventive maintenance.
• Attend meetings with both Psomas and City staff.

Minimum Qualifications to be our Signal Technical Consultant

• Experience with maintaining municipal signal system infrastructure
• 20 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications for our Signal Technical Consultant

• Extensive knowledge of signal control systems
• Comprehensive knowledge of managing municipal traffic management centers
