Role: Sr. Business Analyst with SAP BPC

Job Description:

• We are urgently looking for a Senior Business Analyst with SAP BPC (Business Planning Consolidation) experience for DC location.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in SAP BPC and ERP implementation.
• The Business Analyst will serve as a dedicated team member who has the primary responsibility to support their self organizing, self managing team successfully achieving their daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectives
• Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes ,Contributes to an atmosphere of cross functional teamwork within the organizations Agile project life cycle .
• Works with their team(s) to meet established Sprint and Release goals through primary responsibilities of eliminating impediments, facilitating and training on agile processes, and leading continuous improvement efforts within their team.
• Facilitates preparation and leading of agile process events including agile planning, demo/Sprint review and collaborative / design sessions .Uses agile estimation techniques to help the team and program estimate features, epics, and user stories Conduct daily stand up meetings, planning and review sessions, prioritize tasks and mitigate roadblocks .
• Work collaboratively with the Product Owner and external stakeholders, as well as the product development team during the development cycle to ensure the customer needs are being met .
• Develop product roadmaps and participate in Integrated Release Planning Review and evaluate work done by development team to ensure proper scope has been met .
• Identify use cases that are candidates for automated regression tests .
• Lead the demonstrations to the Product Owner and stakeholders .
• Creating a product backlog that provides business value to the customer Experience conducting backlog refinement sessions with stakeholders and the Product Owner to gather and validate business requirements
• Qualifications Minimum 10 yrs. of experience and master's degree plus required industry certificates; or bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience.
• Experienced IT professional leading large projects and contributing to critical functions .
• A willingness to learn and stay abreast of industry trends is also required .
• The program emphasizes innovation and looks for individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
• Translating business requirements into user stories, use cases and technical requirements Strengthens solutions, ensures application and awareness of practices, provides advice and guidance to teams, contributes with knowledge, mentors experienced staff to deepen their professional knowledge.
• Resource is known for their subject area and is sought out by team members to advise, peer review, or contribute to knowledge products of others ,Experience with functional decomposition of large business needs into multiple layers of requirements/user stories .
• Experience with coaching a development team to understand the business value and mission of the supported product .
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies and estimating techniques.
• Experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organizations business area .
• Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management Developing business processes, capability needs, and business requirements
• Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) Bonus would be having: Certified Product Owner/Software development background
