Responsibilities:
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Perform basic math calculations to support accounting functions
- Assist with credit analysis and evaluate the creditworthiness of customers
- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping principles to record financial transactions
- Provide general support to the accounting department, including data entry and filing
- Assist with financial services tasks such as invoicing, billing, and collections
- Contribute to general ledger accounting activities and assist with month-end closing procedures
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities
- Support payroll management by verifying timesheets and calculating employee wages

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software applications
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
