We are a small private outpatient psychiatry practice in Buffalo, NY, looking to add a part time experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our congenial team. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive mental heath care to adult patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Provide supportive psychotherapy
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and families on mental health issues
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Requirements:
- MSN-Psychiatric/Mental Health NP, NY state license and ANCC Board Certification
- At least 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a commitment to providing excellent care
- Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Possess and maintain a current DEA Registration number to prescribe controlled substances
