Help define the future of PLM SaaS.As a PLM Product Manager, you will work with a dynamic cross-section of stakeholders helping to drive PTC’s transformation to a SaaS company.Key to this transformation is clearly defining and implementing the “as a Service” elements of the offering that go beyond traditional Software features.In this role, you will help to document the “Service Definition” for new PLM SaaS offerings, which helps customers and partners understand how to interact with the service, with PTC, and with each other, to successfully implement and operate the solution.In addition, you will help manage the “Service Catalog” of sellable parts and packages, and their associated commercial and legal terms, to ensure offerings are consistent, profitable, easy to understand, easy to sell, and easy to deliver.

Responsibilities:

50% Service Definition and related content and enablement:

  • Core content updates, coordination with PMs
  • Presentation and training content development
  • Publication and planning with User Assistance team
  • Derivative versions for Select, Med Dev, FedRAMP, etc.

30% Pricing & Packaging:

  • Cost model development & analysis
  • Part number creation and management
  • Commercial Desk support
  • Retirement Program support

20% Miscellaneous product management related activities

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, which may include live presentations
  • Advanced level experience with MS Office, very strong Excel knowledge is a must, PowerPoint is a big plus
  • Strong curiosity to learn about SaaS technology
  • Strategic thinking and ability to learn from mistakes
  • Good organizational management skills and well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel engagements and dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to work in a team environment, but also be self-directed, proactive, and action-oriented.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience with enterprise software implementations, either as an implementation partner or on a customer implementation team
  • Experience in an engineering discipline
  • Experience using PLM software

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
