Job Opportunity: Design Engineer

We are looking for a driven design engineer who is eager for technical growth and advancement in a dynamic workplace. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of projects and be a vital part of a multidisciplinary design team comprising civil engineers, planners, landscape architects, and CADD designers, all guided by an experienced professional engineer. You will work closely with a project engineer who will assist and mentor you in preparing various engineering plan submissions, such as roadway design, erosion control, stormwater management design, site grading and layout design, storm drainage, water & sewer design, and site planning.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of drainage area maps
• Channel or pipe flow computations
• Runoff computations
• Storm computation routing
• Vertical curve design
• Sight distance analysis
• Earthwork analysis
• Cost estimating

Qualifications

• BSCE or MSCE degree
• EIT Certificate (preferred)
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office Suite (MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A personal commitment to excellence
