PTS Corp/Consume is Hiring a Laboratory Agent Near Warren, MI

About the Role

The Laboratory Agent provides on-site support for the production of Progressive Treatment Solutions (“PTS”) manufactured and infused products. The Laboratory Agent completes tasks assigned by the Laboratory Manager to maintain the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of production areas. The Laboratory Agent carries out day-to-day tasks that include keeping the production area clean, packaging all products, light processing duties, and any other tasks that may be assigned. The Laboratory Agent must monitor and maintain the production facility in accordance with State regulations and standards set by PTS.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assisting all agents with daily tasks.
  • Butane and solvent refills.
  • Light processing duties.
  • Assist with packaging of all products created.
  • Clean work surfaces and utensils throughout the day.
  • Assist in weekly and monthly deep cleaning projects to ensure a clean and sterile production environment.
  • Assists with research, communications, or any other assigned projects/tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for extended periods of time.

Must Haves

Education and Experience:

  • To remain compliant with state law, you must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Two years of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar field.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of state and local cannabis laws and how they apply to the packaging and labeling operations of PTS.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Accurate data entry and record keeping.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Michigan cannabis knowledge and understanding of cannabis products preferred.
