The Global Health Training, Advisory and Support Contract (GHTASC) delivers effective global health programming to advance the mission of the U.
S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Global Health (GH) through institutional support and workforce development services from junior, mid-level, senior and expert advisory, and administrative professionals.
B. Position Summary :
The primary responsibilities of the Inclusive Development Advisor will be to work with the Senior GH Policy and Health Equity Advisor and the GH Antidiscrimination and Diversity Council (ADC) in the coordination and implementation of initiatives and activities that advance the Inclusive Partnerships Pillar of the GH Antidiscrimination and Diversity Council (ADC).
Responsibilities include leading the inclusive development workstream, communicating across offices on the progress and deliverables of the Council as it relates to inclusive development;
support offices as needed with cross-cutting DEIA initiatives, programs, and policies; and leverage best practices in DEIA and inclusive development to implement other internal and external activities.
This position will serve as a subject matter expert to enhance the Bureau of Global Health's engagement with marginalized and underrepresented groups - groups that are disproportionately excluded from opportunities and systems (e.
g., employment, political representation, education, basic services), often due to structural and societal obstacles and historical marginalization.

The Advisor will also provide targeted technical assistance and support to a select number of operating units on DEIA and inclusive development.
The Advisor will work to facilitate reporting on key issues and qualitative narratives of relevance to inclusive development.
Related to office-level support for DEIA, the Advisor will help improve DEIA within organizational culture, recruiting, retention, performance management, talent development, and leadership commitment.
Related to office-level support for localization, the Advisor will help support the Global Health Bureau's efforts to actualize their localization action plans as well as facilitate reporting progress through the Bureau's front-office led objective and key results (OKR) process for a select set of operating units.
The DEIA Team which is located in the Office of the Assistant Administrator for USAID's Bureau for Global Health is charged with technical leadership for and management of the Global Health Bureau's DEIA portfolio.
The GH DEIA Team seeks an Inclusive Development Advisor to serve as a technical resource, linking DEIA and inclusive development for GH staff by supporting their efforts to effectively and sustainability strengthen the capacity of USAID's local implementing partners through a DEIA lens in order to sustainably achieve Global Health Bureau outcomes.

Full salary range for this position is $94,900 to $147,940 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
