Job Summary:

The client is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Real Estate Litigation Partner to join their esteemed team in New York. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in real estate law, a proven track record of successful transactions, and a robust client base with strong portable book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development projects.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of real estate matters.
• Negotiate and draft sophisticated real estate documents such as purchase agreements, leases, financing agreements, and joint venture agreements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry contacts, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm’s real estate practice.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes affecting real estate.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and, if necessary, litigation related to real estate matters.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• 7 years of experience in real estate law with a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
• Strong portable book of business.
