Public Sector People is Hiring a Governance Manager Near Sydney, FL
Contract: 12 months
Hourly Pay Rate: $89.58 - $96.44 p/h Super
Responsibilities
- Translate strategic priorities into the governance policy framework that supports sound decision making by both the elected Council and those who are employed by or otherwise deliver services of the Council
- Initiate, lead and manage the planning and implementation of key governance initiatives in consultation with the Senior Manager Governance and Risk
- Provide expert statutory interpretation, policy development, implementation and ongoing review in support of a leading practice governance organisation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Law, Local Government, Commerce, Secretariat, or similar relevant area, and/or extensive experience in a similar role.
- Substantial demonstrated Local Government Governance experience.
- Significant experience in statutory interpretation, policy development, and the planning and coordination of governance reviews and initiatives.
