Job Summary :

The Dealership Head Porter at Puente Hills Mitsubishi is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the dealership's vehicle detailing and organization.

This is a Full Time, individual contributor role in the Auto industry located in City of Industry, California.

As a skilled labor / technician, the head porter will be responsible for ensuring the dealership's vehicles are well-maintained, presentable, and organized.

The compensation for this role ranges from $3000 to $4500 per month, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the dealership's detailing department
• Ensure all vehicles on the lot are well-maintained, clean, and presentable for potential customers
• Supervise and train a team of detailers to ensure high-quality work and efficient processes
• Maintain inventory of detailing supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed
• Perform vehicle detailing tasks as needed
• Inspect vehicles for any damages or defects and report them to the appropriate department
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Communicate with sales and service departments to prioritize and coordinate vehicle detailing requests
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by management

Requirements :

• At least 1-2 years of experience in automotive detailing
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with and ability to use detailing equipment and supplies
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
