Job Description:

As the Head Baker/Bread Baker/Culinary Artist at Pullman Bread LLC, you'll play a pivotal role in leading our bakery operations while also getting your hands dirty in the dough. From managing a team to crafting artisanal bread, your passion and expertise will shape the heart and soul of our bakery. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of bakers and pastry chefs, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a cohesive and efficient working environment.
• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
• Develop and refine recipes for a diverse range of bread offerings, incorporating traditional techniques and innovative flavors.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and innovative bread offerings that captivate our customers' taste buds.
• Monitor baking processes and adjust temperatures, humidity levels, and baking times as needed to achieve optimal results.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering ingredients and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions about our products and offering recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
• Embrace opportunities for continuous learning and skill development, staying informed about industry trends and techniques.
• Fluent or proficient in Japanese language is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a head baker, bread baker, or pastry chef in a high-volume bakery or restaurant environment preferred.
• Previous experience in a bakery or culinary environment preferred, but not required.
• Passion for bread and a keen interest in culinary arts.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent or proficient in Japanese language is a bonus.
