The Medical Office Coordinator will assist with management of Pulmonary Critical Care Practice, by managing calendars for physician’s call. Manage physician’s assignment to ICU/Hospital/Office. Manage scheduling of night coverage and vacations for physicians. Oversee outpatient visit schedules. Support patient flow and experience in outpatient offices. Scheduling monthly meetings and other meetings as requested.
The Medical Office Coordinator is also responsible for assessing processes and practices for regulatory reporting and conformance to quality standards. Assists in the development, measurement, and evaluation of clinical systems and processes which improve efficiency, quality of care, and health outcomes. Works with Providers, office staff, quality and IT leaders to implement improvements.
Primary Responsibilities will be Participating in planning, implementing, and monitoring the continuous quality improvement program. Working with clinicians to remedy areas ofweakness/risk. Performing regular EHR audits to ensure clinical staff are completing tasks per established guidelines. Documenting and tracking all quality assurance/compliance activities.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience with Quality Payment Program/MIPS, ACO and quality reporting preferred. 5 year experience medical scheduling (preferred). Experience with EMR applications, preferably eCW.
Additional Information:
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Google Calendar, Zoom Meetings and Powerpoint.
Keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments
