Job purpose:

The Marketing Manager – ABM is a 16-month fixed term contract role to cover maternity leave and support Pulsant through a very busy period. The role will be part of a fast paced, fun and close-knit team of 5 geographically dispersed marketing and PR professionals and will also involve management of a number of agencies (who help with creatives, marketing automation, CMS and media buying).

The role will include end-to-end responsibility for the ABM (Account Based Marketing) or CXM (Customer Expansion Marketing) campaigns including research, content creation, campaign execution and measurement. The primary focus of this role is expansion of the existing client base, however the role will also support net new acquisition. This autonomous role is ideal for someone who is looking to make a difference in an unbureaucratic environment, where decisions are made and executed upon swiftly and the end results of your work are quickly visible.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning: creating a quarterly and annual ABM plan against which to execute including the selection of target accounts and segments based upon internal and external insights.
  • Campaigning: design, build & run customer marketing campaigns ensuring optimisation of core channels including email, Paid Media, Paid Search and web driving CRO
  • Insight champion: development of insights and trends into selected key accounts or segments based on intensive research and the creation of reports to ensure the delivery of specific value propositions
  • Collaboration: build close relationship with client account sales leaders forming an effective working process with excellent communication.
  • Content: work with internal teams including Product Management, Solutions Architects and Operations as well as external creative agency partners to create compelling account or segment-based content to deliver growth targets.
  • Tools: work with web CMS, marketing automation, email, SEM, SEO and PPC tools (such as Hubspot and Albacross) to deliver promotional programs to meet agreed targets for lead generation, sales funnel fill and return on investment.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Strong experience of ABM within a B2B Marketing (technology) environment
  • Proven track record in creating and managing high impact, results-driven inbound marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing marketing agency partners (such as digital marketing, demand generation and creative agencies) to develop and report on multi phase campaigns.
  • Digital demand generation experience
  • Experience of working with a marketing automation platform such as HubSpot, (or similar) and Intent Data tools.
  • Marketing certification or qualifications
  • Accustomed to working with senior stakeholders within a matrix organisation.
