PTAs implement components of patient care, obtain data related to the treatments provided, and collaborate with the PT to modify care as necessary. PTAs assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to people at the end of life.
• Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups
• Read instructions from Physical Therapist
• Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients
• Speak with families to find best at-home techniques
• Keep physical therapy clean and organized
• Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to physical therapy area
• Complete administrative tasks, like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
• Teach patients techniques like balance training

We see a wide variety of orthopedic, cognitive, dietary and neurological diagnoses and both short term rehab patients as well as long term care residents. We are a newly formed healthcare company whose goal is to become the premier inpatient rehab provider in the communities we serve.
