Role description

We are seeking an experienced GenAI Architects to collaborate with data scientists and other AI professionals to augment digital transformation efforts by identifying and piloting use cases. You are able to lead the design and development of cutting-edge AI systems capable of generating creative and novel outputs across various domains. As a Generative AI Architect, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, architecting, and implementing advanced generative models and algorithms to push the boundaries of AI-driven creativity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop technical strategies, and deliver scalable and efficient solutions that leverage the latest advancements in generative AI technologies.

Role responsibilities.

  • Lead the architectural design and development of generative AI systems capable of producing creative outputs such as images, music, text, and beyond.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and domain experts to identify use cases and requirements for generative AI applications.
  • Research, experiment, and prototype novel generative models and algorithms, exploring techniques such as GANs, VAEs, and reinforcement learning.
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient architectures for training and deploying generative AI models, leveraging cloud-based infrastructures and distributed computing technologies.
  • Optimize and fine-tune generative models for performance, scalability, and robustness, addressing challenges such as mode collapse, overfitting, and data biases.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in generative AI, continuously integrating new techniques and methodologies into architectural designs.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align architectural decisions with business goals, user needs, and market trends.
  • Lead and mentor a team of generative AI engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to drive project success.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate generative AI functionalities into production systems and applications.
  • Contribute to patenting efforts, academic publications, and technical conferences to showcase innovative generative AI solutions developed by the team.

Experience and Education.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in artificial intelligence, with a focus on generative models and architectures.
  • Proven track record of architecting and developing complex AI systems, with a specialization in generative AI.
  • Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX, with hands-on experience in building and training generative models.
  • Strong understanding of generative model architectures and algorithms, including GANs, VAEs, autoregressive models, and deep reinforcement learning.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and proficiency in distributed computing technologies.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, with experience in software development best practices, version control, and code review processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of AI engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, propose creative solutions, and drive projects to successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with interdisciplinary applications of generative AI, such as in creative arts, design, music composition, or natural language generation.
  • Knowledge of ethical considerations and implications related to generative AI technologies, with a commitment to responsible AI development practices.
  • Contributions to projects, research publications, case studies or patents in the field of generative AI.
  • Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced startup or research settings.
