Assist in Managing the Utility Plant Maintenance department (Mechanical maintenance, instrumentation/electrical (I&E) and storeroom expediters) to accomplish plant projects and preventative/corrective maintenance. Evaluate and improve the safety of the plant. Participate on the plant safety committee and assist with implementation and training of new safety programs. Ensure that a safe work environment is maintained. Assist in directing maintenance, overhauls, and projects for all power plant equipment. Coordinate activities with the Plant Maintenance manager, Plant Operations Manager, and all other operational groups, ensuring operational and production needs are met. Subject to 24-hour call for emergencies and “Operations Supervisor on-call rotation”.

Education and Experience Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or engineering/Power Plant Technology or related area
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in power plant engineering, maintenance, operations, or management
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered

Preferred:

• Previous management or supervisory experience strongly
