The Associate Director serves as the daily operational manager in directing overall customer service, work assignments, assessing strategies to support student success, and coordinating with the functional units served by the Purdue in Indianapolis One Stop Shop. Purdue in Indianapolis's One Stop Shop will primarily provide financial aid services but will also assist in bursar and registrar services to students. This role manages a three-person team and is responsible for assessing and enhancing student services to meet customer needs and university priorities; monitoring quality service on a regular basis and employing information gained to implement changes for improvements; assisting in data collection and measuring of established performance measures; employing a comprehensive performance management system, including performance planning, coaching, and reviews. This position works closely with functional offices, including Registrar, Financial Aid, and the Bursar’s Office.

Required:
BA/BS Degree required.
Minimum 6 years financial aid or equivalent work experience, bursar, registrar, or other relevant experience.
Preferred:
Degree in Higher Education, Management, and Finance.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Skills:
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills particularly in explaining complex federal, state, and university policies.
Must have excellent presentation skills and embrace a customer service vision.
Demonstrated leadership skills, interpersonal skills, team building skills, and the ability to motivate a diverse staff.
