Pure Barre is the national leader in barre fitness with more than 600 franchise locations in the United States and Canada. We are currently expanding our team at Pure Barre Newport News and seek a qualified Sales Manager that is focused on driving sales and service excellence for our luxury fitness brand. POSITION:

The Sales Manager will oversee all studio sales functionality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead generation including grass roots marketing and networking
• Membership and retail sales
• Manage staff schedule
• Train and supervise Sales Representatives
• Collect outstanding dues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
• Enforce studio policies and procedures
• Provide exceptional level of customer service to members and prospects in-person, by phone, and by email
• Become proficient at ClubReady software to troubleshoot client account inquiries and possible sales opportunities
• Contact prospects/leads to schedule barre class and enroll them in a membership
• Drive and retain retail and membership sales
• Participate in as many networking/community events in the surrounding community and studio promotions as possible
• Collaborate with owner to execute light operational duties such as: ordering supplies, scheduling staff, and organizing events

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years of sales experience, fitness industry preferred
• Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps for revenue generation
• Organized with ability multi-task and follow-through on individual projects
• Previous management, supervisory, or training experience
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phone
• Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
• Professional, punctual, reliable, neat, and organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Trustworthy with ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment
• Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new programs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with nights and weekend availability

Candidate must be in-studio for a minimum of 1 weekend day and 1 evening per week. Other hours will be as needed with flexibility to handle some duties remotely. 20 - 35 hours per week to start. Room for growth to a full time position.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
