About the role:This position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, experience in an accounting or finance position. Internship is a plus! The ideal candidate for this would be a self-starter with "can-do" attitude and strong work ethic with knowledge and experience of superior analytical and problem-solving skills to find solutions to various accounting problems and prioritize work.

- Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Analyze discrepancies and resolves issues in a timely manner.
- Record fixed assets and depreciation.
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close.
- Perform financial compliance and regulatory reporting activities.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor, review and analyze to identify and create schedules for potential unclaimed property liability.
- Assist in all ad hoc projects.
- A bachelor’s degree from accredited college in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum 3.2 undergraduate GPA
- 1-3 years of prior accounting experience preferred, but we would also consider exceptional candidates.
- Proficiency in Excel, including experience working with pivot tables and vlookup.
- Proven experience in bank reconciliation a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud-based accounting platforms [Intacct knowledge a plus]
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
