Position Overview:

The Senior Program Manager of Product Lifecycle Operation will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization's product portfolio. They'll be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of products, from conception to retirement, and will collaborate closely with engineering leaders to ensure smooth planning, implementation, and operations within each business unit. The Pure Product Life Cycle will be a key aspect of their role, involving the development of processes, tools, and methodologies for demand and portfolio management, project delivery, and communications. This person will likely need strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills to effectively drive these initiatives and ensure alignment across the organization.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

  • Develop and refine a unified and reliable End-to-End Product Life Cycle framework for creating and introducing new products and services, as well as implementing incremental product enhancements.
  • Oversee the governance, compliance, and reporting aspects of the Product Life Cycle at an executive level.
  • Driving cross-business unit initiatives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment requires a strategic approach and effective leadership.

  • Partner and coach Engineering and Product leaders on the portfolio wide Product Life Cycle to ensure implementation and consistency.
  • Develop and drive new process initiatives and streamline existing processes to ensure efficiencies at scale.
  • Establish and integrate contemporary tools and methodologies to optimize predictability, agility, and velocity.
  • Provide comprehensive and consistent program visibility to stakeholders, executives and team members via portals, dashboards and metrics.
  • Implement & manage enterprise PPM and related content management systems.
  • Oversee worldwide products and services initiatives collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and core functional teams.
Responsibilities:

WHAT YOULL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 10 years of validated experience in one or more of the following areas: Program and Project Management, PLC Processes & Governance, or New Product Introduction.
  • Demonstrated history of constructing Product Life Cycles for hardware, software, or subscription-based products.
  • Extensive expertise in setting up and implementing project management approaches, procedures, evaluations, and utilities (traditional, agile), backed by comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience.
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong organizational abilities, adept project management, effective communication skills, and comprehensive understanding of product life cycle dynamics.
  • Proficient in navigating leadership responsibilities within a matrix organization and adept at engaging with executive leadership.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, encompassing presentations, with the capacity to mentor others in executive-level communication.
  • Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, quantitative/technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Qualifications:

As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

Pay Range:
USD $156,000.00 - USD $235,000.00 /Yr.
Pay Transparency Statement:

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
