Purelight Power is Hiring an Area Director, Field Sales & Marketing Near Renton, WA

Job Summary:

Purelight Power is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Director to lead and grow our sales and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, sales, and field marketing, with a passion for developing people and driving results. This role requires a strategic thinker who can inspire a team and foster a culture of excellence.

This is a Leader of Leaders in a well established market with highly skilled teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Development:
  • Support 2-4 Sales Managers and 2-6 Field Marketing Supervisors.
  • Conduct weekly correlation meetings, marketing, and sales calls.
  • Drive culture and own growth through effective leadership.
  • Achieve personal production targets.
  • Sales and Marketing Oversight:
  • Oversee lead generation and field marketing activities.
  • Drive lead generation results by demonstrating and coaching in-the-field.
  • Coordinate table events, including set-up and tear-down.
  • Hold sales teams accountable to performance targets.
  • Recruitment and Training:
  • Conduct opportunity nights, interviews, and hiring.
  • Manage new hire onboarding and training programs.
  • Engage with the team through chats, message boards, and quarterly skip-level meetings.
  • Performance Management:
  • Track and promote company sales incentives.
  • Analyze dashboards and reports to identify wins and opportunities for promotions.
  • Develop training content and facilitate a book club for continuous learning.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Achieve Area sales targets.
  • Monitor activities to ensure consistent productivity.
  • Gather appointment feedback for coaching and improved efficiency.
  • Coordinate and drive lead generation to ensure closer schedules are maximized.

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE SOLAR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
  • Proven track-record in a leadership role, preferably in sales or field marketing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive performance through strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Field marketing, door-to-door sales experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual Pay Range:
  • Expected Minimum: $178,000
  • Potential Target: $468,000
  • Compensation Plan:
  • Uncapped Commission, Monthly Bonuses, and Sales Overrides
