Overview:
We are seeking a Bakery Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of our bakery, supporting the baking and pastry team with various tasks.
Duties:
- Excellent and detail oriented customer service with customers over the phone and at our door. We are an allergen specialty bakery where details are critical. Professionalism and maturity are essential.
- Excellent Accounting skills with daily invoicing and running numbers for wholesale.
- Assistant to the Owner for all daily activities and communicating with staff for baking schedule and decorating with special orders/wedding orders.
- Skilled experience with Excel and website management/social media/marketing assistance (photography a bonus
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation, as well as online ordering with vendors
- Assisting with pick up orders of supplies as needed, and subbing for our delivery driver to some of our wholesale locations, as needed

Qualifications:
-Associate degree or equivalent experience in office administration
Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, math skills, and excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team since this position works closely with owner, head baker, and head decorator
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling phone systems
- Experience with calendar management for scheduling tasks efficiently
- Background in administrative duties such as project coordination
- familiarity of gluten free, vegan, dairy free, keto, sugar free a bonus

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
