Purestream Services is Hiring a Sales Representative Near Midland, TX

Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: Midland, TX

Reports To: Sales Manager

Purestream Services has been operating in the Permian Basin for over a decade. We provide an array of water treatment services tailored for the Upstream Oil and Gas market. When it comes to produced water reuse, disinfection, and management, Purestream has treated more than 20 billion gallons of water.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative with experience selling water treatment services to upstream oil and gas customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, closing sales, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation strategies.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, clearly articulating the value proposition and benefits of our products/services.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Address customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives as set by the management.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitive landscape, and product enhancements.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the Sales Manager.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to ensure consistent messaging and product alignment.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and report customer feedback and insights to help improve products, services, and customer experience.
  • Additional Job Duties:
  • Attend bid walk throughs.
  • Assist with Review and development of project flow diagram, P&ID, and proposal documentation.
  • Assist with contract negotiation as needed.
  • Investigate the territory to ensure Purestream is being sufficiently represented to secure a leading place in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Sales Representative within the upstream oil and gas market. Experience with selling service contracts for produced water treatment is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position.
  • Some travel may be required for client meetings and industry events.
