Purple, Rock, Scissors has an exciting contract opportunity for a UX Style Guide Editor to assist one of our large tech clients. We are looking for a seasoned UX content strategist professional with a background in big tech (Google, Apple, Meta, etc) who thrives on maintaining style consistency. The ideal candidate is impeccably organized, detail-focused, and possesses an in-depth understanding of style guidelines. While this isn't primarily a content design role, you'll play a crucial part in content strategy tasks such as auditing, information architecture, and ensuring editorial coherence. Familiarity with CMS platforms is also a must.

Note - this is not a marketing related content role. Requires UX experience within an enterprise level tech environment. 

Contract Opportunity: 6 months, full time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily content creation and related tasks
• Oversee and manage comprehensive style guides, ensuring adherence to established standards
• Provide content strategy support including content auditing, information architecture(IA), and maintaining editorial consistency
• Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, crucial for maintaining high-quality outputs
• Utilize your experience with Content Management Systems(CMS) to streamline processes and manage content effectively

Ideal Candidate:

• Copywriter with at least 8 years of professional copywriting and editing experience
• Possesses an in-depth understanding of style guidelines.
• Exhibits meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
• Background and experience in content strategy
• Experienced in working with various CMS platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Literature, Business, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in writing, editorial, marketing, and UX writing.
• Experience working in a cross-functional technology organization is required
