Putzmeister is Hiring an Electrical Assembler Near Sturtevant, WI

Summary: Electrical configuration and wiring of new and existing electrical components of Putzmeister America Products
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Electrical wiring and reconfiguring of Putzmeister products to Putzmeister standards.
  • Conduct tests to installed components, in-house or vendors supplied, and verify the proper function of those components.
  • Provide professional workmanship and quality to the installation and/or modification of all installed electrical elements.
  • Provide documentation relating to inspections, modifications, and audits.
  • Assist ‘on-site’ vendors with technical information and support to enhance Putzmeister products.
  • Assist the Electrical/Maintenance department in various aspects of production.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Maintain high standards in housekeeping, safety, and quality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of 12-volt and 24-volt electrical systems
  • 1-to-3 verifiable years of electrical expertise
  • Read and understand the Metric system.
  • Show proficiency in use of basic electrical equipment (Voltage Meter)
  • Must be able to connect pneumatics on OTR.
Education/Certification/Training
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Trade or technical training in electrical systems
  • CDL license preferred
  • Mandatory safety training (see ‘Total Compliance Management’ program
  • On-the-job training
Work Environment/Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to dust, working near moving mechanical parts, and is occasionally exposed to chemicals.
  • Uniforms, steel-toe safety shoes, and safety glasses/goggles must be worn at all times while in designated areas of the shop.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and use hands-to-finger, handle, or touch. Frequently required to push and/or pull
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; occasionally having to lift/move up to 70 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, peripheral, and/or the ability to focus.
