Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Electrical wiring and reconfiguring of Putzmeister products to Putzmeister standards.
- Conduct tests to installed components, in-house or vendors supplied, and verify the proper function of those components.
- Provide professional workmanship and quality to the installation and/or modification of all installed electrical elements.
- Provide documentation relating to inspections, modifications, and audits.
- Assist ‘on-site’ vendors with technical information and support to enhance Putzmeister products.
- Assist the Electrical/Maintenance department in various aspects of production.
- Read and understand electrical schematics.
- Maintain high standards in housekeeping, safety, and quality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
- Knowledge of 12-volt and 24-volt electrical systems
- 1-to-3 verifiable years of electrical expertise
- Read and understand the Metric system.
- Show proficiency in use of basic electrical equipment (Voltage Meter)
- Must be able to connect pneumatics on OTR.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Trade or technical training in electrical systems
- CDL license preferred
- Mandatory safety training (see ‘Total Compliance Management’ program
- On-the-job training
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to dust, working near moving mechanical parts, and is occasionally exposed to chemicals.
- Uniforms, steel-toe safety shoes, and safety glasses/goggles must be worn at all times while in designated areas of the shop.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and use hands-to-finger, handle, or touch. Frequently required to push and/or pull
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; occasionally having to lift/move up to 70 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, peripheral, and/or the ability to focus.
