Kaleidoscope Interventions is ideally located in Brevard County, Florida – right on the Space Coast! We serve families within our clinic, in the community, and with our sister agency Puzzle Box Academy. We are currently looking for Registered Behavior Technicians to help grow our Melbourne, FL location!

Kaleidoscope Interventions specializes in evidence-based behavioral, speech, and occupational therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to providing treatment to strengthen the behavioral, social, educational, and daily living needs of children. We work extensively with individuals who exhibit a variety of developmental needs and challenging behaviors to build adaptive skills in the home, school, community settings and our clinic utilizing behavioral principles.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Receives general direction and works under the general guidance of the Clinical Director and collaborates with the Supporting staff.
• Supports and assists with the completion of day to day classroom tasks and activities in accordance with applicable lesson plans and child treatment plan goals and objectives.
• Observes and assists with the implementation of student treatment plans and group instructional activities.
• Assists with data collection, graphing, and reporting of child learning progress.
• Applies basic working knowledge and understanding of each child's cumulative learning and developmental goals and objectives.
• Provides general feedback and updates to Clinical Director and Supporting Staff regarding classroom activities, tasks and general observations.
• Demonstrates appropriate child care standards and practices, and consistently adheres to all company policies, procedures and practices.
• Ensures a clean, safe, attractive and functional learning environment.
• Monitors children for signs of child abuse, and reports incidents of suspected abuse to appropriate staff and personnel immediately.
• Maintains proficient understanding and working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Adheres to all policies, procedures and standard practices of Kaleidoscope Interventions
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Registered Behavior Technician in good standing with BACB
• Min. six months experience working with children with Autism or other developmental disabilities
• Must have a valid Florida driver license
• Valid CPR certification
