Job Requirements and Preferences : Basic Qualifications : Minimum Degree Required :Bachelor Degree Minimum Years of Experience :9 year(s) Certification(s) Required :

One or more of the following credentials or certifications is required: CPA License, Level 3 of the CFA, JD, PhD, MBA or Masters degree in Finance, Tax, Quantitative Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Real Estate Finance or Hospitality A State Certified Appraiser License, Member of Appraisal Institute (MAI), Member of American Society of Appraisers (ASA) or achieve certification of CRE, CRI and/or CCIM, CHA, PMP, or IRS enrolled agent.

Preferred Qualifications : Preferred Fields of Study :Management Information Systems & Accounting, Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Engineering, Engineering and Business, Finance, Real Estate, Taxation Additional Educational Preferences :

A Juris Doctorate, PhD, MBA or a Master degree in Finance, Tax, Quantitative Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics may also be considered.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader, emphasizing the following areas:

  • Having an understanding of financial accounting, capital markets, taxation, mathematics, financial reporting, and/or financial engineering;
  • Possessing knowledge of U.S. federal income tax rules for securitization transactions;
  • Assisting clients with their understanding of complex financial structures and related tax rules prior to the issuance of securitizations and assisting related parties, underwriters, attorneys, etc;
  • Preparing or reviewing tax calculations and tax reporting for securitization entities;
  • Applying tax rules to complex financial instruments;
  • Demonstrating abilities and/or proven record of success working with alternative investment funds, securitizations, treasury, and/or derivatives & hedging transactions;
  • Demonstrating ability to research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters;
  • Demonstrating ability to lead multiple teams across various projects;
  • Possessing experience demonstrating effective problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
  • Having the ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management in both written and verbal form;
  • Having the ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for personal growth and development;
  • Possessing proven communication skills with the ability to articulate relevant finance and tax topics through clear, concise, and impactful presentation;
  • Having the ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for personal growth and development;
  • Innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions;
  • Possessing experience creating engagement plans and budgets;
  • Developing proposals;
  • Targeting and sourcing new clients and/or engagements;
  • Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools;
  • Being proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint;
  • Being proficient in Google Applications; and,
  • Being willing to travel.
