Certification(s) RequiredBefore starting with PwC full-time, must meet all educational requirements to be eligible for the primary credential license appropriate for relevant practice area, such as having 150 credit hours for the CPA license in the state in which your office will be located or the educational requirements to license for other relevant credentials, for example the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Project Management Professional (PMP).

Additional Educational PreferencesA Juris Doctorate, PhD, MBA or a Master degree in Finance, Tax, Quantitative Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics may also be considered.
Certification(s) PreferredOne or more of the following credentials or certifications is required for promotion to Manager: CPA License, Levels 1 & 2 of the CFA exam, JD, PhD, MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Quantitative Statistics, Engineering, Corporate Engineering, Information Systems, Financial Engineering, Economics, Real Estate Finance or Hospitality, Enrolled Agent (EA), State Certified Appraiser License**, Member Appraisal Institute (MAI), or completion of all requirements for CCIM designation; Project Management Professional (PMP), Leadership in Engineering and Environmental Design (LEED), or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
Preferred Knowledge/SkillsDemonstrates thorough abilities success with managing the identification and addressing of client needs including:
  • Having three or more years of experience with Real estate software such as Yardi, MRI, in a functional and implementation role;
  • Understanding full cycle accounting within the Real Estate industry and be able to comprehend acquisition/disposition transactions and property management techniques; and,
  • Understanding business enhancement techniques and be able to advise clients on business process improvements and efficiencies.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader by:
  • Having an understanding of Yardi Voyager and ancillary modules including investment management;
  • Understanding and experience with extracting data Yardi;
  • Demonstrating ability to configure or advise on configuration of Yardi;
  • Understanding of how to set up new properties and configure recovery calculations;
  • Being responsible for completion of implementation tasks, performing project management activities;
  • Demonstrating ability to understand real estate processes and identify business requirements;
  • Demonstrating ability to translate business requirements into actionable configuration points; and,
  • Assisting in system assessments.
