Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assembler Developer to join our team. The Assembler Developer will be responsible for writing, testing, and maintaining assembler code for our software products. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in developing assembler code and a strong understanding of computer architecture.

Responsibilities:

Write, test, and maintain assembler code for software products

Collaborate with other developers and team members to identify software requirements

Debug and resolve software defects in a timely manner

Develop and implement testing plans to ensure software quality

Stay up-to-date with new developments in assembler programming and computer architecture

Document code changes and software updates for future reference

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Assist in the development of technical specifications and project timelines

Communicate progress and status updates to project stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

At least 3-5 years of experience in developing assembler code

Strong understanding of computer architecture and operating systems

Experience with software development tools such as debuggers, profilers, and version control systems

Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with IBM Assembler Language or similar programming languages

Knowledge of mainframe systems and architecture

Experience with Agile development methodologies

Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies

Understanding of software security and best practices
