Pay Range: $90 - $100/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- The company is seeking a seasoned malware engineer based in the U.S. to assist a highly experienced counterpart in Canada.
- This role involves handling malware-related tasks, offsetting the Co-Engineer's workload, and requires advanced reverse malware engineering skills.
- The candidate will work in a lab environment on various projects, supporting 300 retainer customers with a 24-hour SLA for data breaches.
- Evening and weekend work may be needed.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 3 years of experience (5-7 years preferred) as a Malware Engineer.
- Proficiency in Reverse Engineering Malware.
- Strong Linux skills, Experience with malware platforms like Ghidra or IDA
- Ability to write Python scripts (Perl, Java, C acceptable)
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical details to non-technical clients
- Client support experience
- Flexibility to work EST hours and outside the typical 9-5 schedule
