OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic individual who is motivational, passionate, and fun! We want you to assist in leading our Front Office Team to ensure the effortless and seamless movement of guests in and out of the hotel, and to provide exceptional levels of service throughout our guests' stay.
The Assistant Front Office Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front office guest services team. This position will assure guest service standards are being applied consistently and that all hotel and department policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
As our Assistant Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Communication with Front Office Manager daily.
  • Ensure an employee attitude of attentiveness and anticipation for all guest needs.
  • Develop and Coach associates in the moment or in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper delivery of guest special requests.
  • Provide support to the Front Desk by answering the telephone, handling issues, and assisting guests to check-in and checkout of the hotel.
  • Proficient in the use of hotel systems. Working knowledge of how the systems work hand-in-hand.
  • Assist all Front Desk Associates with all training.
  • Training Plans - Continuously develop & training for Front Office Staff.
  • Maintain ordering all supplies for the Front Office and Marketplace.
  • Expense Tracking - Responsible for tracking and maintaining expenses.
  • Assist in development and submission of weekly work schedule for Front Desk Employees.
  • Ensure that the Front Desk Associates are fully informed and prepared for Group arrivals per Group Resumes.
  • Develop effective departmental communication and information systems using communication logs, department meetings, and hotel meetings
  • Inform Front Office Manager of potential problems with guests and progress of assigned tasks
  • Perform Manager on Duty functions in the absence of the Front Office Manager
  • Carry out any reasonable request by Management that is capable of being performed
Qualifications
  • Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and relate to guests concerns and work well in groups.
  • Strong interpersonal and employee relation skills are a must with the ability to mentor, train and develop staff. Te ability to motivate and drive the staff is essential.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of computers, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
  • Must be able to handle multi-tasking and be goal- and results-oriented.
  • Must have strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
Compensation RangeThe compensation for this position is $50,000.00/Yr. - $50,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
