• Culinary school or related experience is a bonus.
• Three years culinary experience in a high volume, upscale, chef driven kitchen preferred.
• Basic knowledge of soups, sauces, butchery, and cooking techniques.
• A willingness to follow procedures, complete tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
• An understanding of menu preparation, ordering and production organization.
• Previous experience assisting in running a kitchen line of 5 cooks at a time is a bonus.
• Hard-working, consistent, and assertive personality.
• Must have a sense of pride, sense of respect and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
