The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by attracting and securing group bookings, corporate clients, and individual guests to the resort. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, building relationships with clients, and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales and Marketing:
o Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.
o Identify and target potential clients through cold calls, networking, and attending industry events.
o Promote the resort’s golf facilities, accommodations, event spaces, and amenities to prospective clients.
o Prepare and present sales proposals to prospective clients, including corporate groups, event planners, and travel agents.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
• Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster repeat business.
o Conduct site visits and tours of the resort for potential clients.
o Follow up with clients post-event to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.
• Revenue Management:
o Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
o Develop pricing strategies in collaboration with the revenue management team.
o Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in a resort or golf resort setting.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
• Strong knowledge of golf resort operations and amenities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.
