Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Location: York, PA
Hourly Rate: $13/hour
Schedule: 7am-3pm, weekend availability preferred
Employment Status: Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to support our clients and staff. The BHT is an integral part of our clients’ well-being and our daily operations, providing frontline support and ensuring the smooth running of daily activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the intake process for new clients.
• Communicate with staff verbally and through written logs, maintaining detailed client records.
• Listen to clients and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention.
• Coordinate activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.
• Conduct mandatory bed checks and complete bed-check sheets for shift reporting.
• Ensure client schedules are followed daily.
• Follow treatment plan objectives.
• Monitor the medication line.
• Transport clients to meetings and recreational activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
