Summary:

The role involves facilitating clinical services for the program in alignment with facility standards and the clinical philosophy of the program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients and their families. Regularly consult with the treatment team to develop and progress treatment goals in accordance with clinical policy and CARF guidelines.
• Facilitate all clinical services for clients, including individual and family sessions, therapeutic groups, and coordination with referral sources and outpatient providers.
• Maintain clinical records for clients, ensuring appropriate documentation of clinical services and client engagement in ECR as per program policy.
• Provide documentation and support for utilization review in a timely manner and participate in the UR process as outlined in program policy.
• Participate in the development of aftercare plans and outcome data processes.
• Contribute to program-specific curriculum development, literature review, and training in line with clinical philosophy.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as directed by the supervisor and in accordance with program policy.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients, including crisis intervention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Licensure, Education, & Experience:

• Master's Degree from an accredited institution with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Licensure: LPC, CSAC-E, CSAC, License Eligible.
• Preferred experience in mental health/trauma, eating disorders, or substance use domains.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience to provide supervision to Residents in Counseling.
