• Our Nurses do not have to assist with ADLs: All clients are independent for Bathing, feeding, grooming, personal hygiene, etc.

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:

• Properly instructs and guides LPNs/Med Techs/CMA in client care responsibilities.
• Orientation of new employees.
• Conveys accurate information to unit nursing and tech staff.
• Work with facility physician and RN to complete tasks such as: transfers, discharges, progress notes, medication reconciliation, medication administration. Completes all required documentation including Incident, EMS, and shift reports.

• Report any unusual occurrences to nurse supervisor/program director promptly.
• Maintain medical equipment in proper working order.
• Other duties as assigned.

Technical Competencies:

Strong background in D&A and Co-occurring Disorders, knowledge of HIPAA laws, Confidentiality, state licensing regulations, CPR, AED and First Aid.
