Pyramid Insurance is Hiring an Agency Services Representative Near Honolulu, HI

Location: Honolulu, HI

Responsible for servicing new and renewal business, and any other related policy activities. All tasks, including data entry, document creation, database maintenance, are to be completed in a timely, accurate and positive manner.

Agency Services:

  • Manage policy download and suspense items.
  • Pull carrier documents from the agency portal or email inbox to distribute.
  • Distribute Supplemental Applications.
  • Receive and distribute invoices from accounting.
  • Print and Mail Documents.
  • Handle all outgoing and incoming mail, including mail collection and distributing to the appropriate area, agent, or employee.
  • Process Return Mail.
  • Organizes, Scans and Distributes mail for Agency Services.
  • Process internal requests which include change requests, certificates, etc.
  • Creates invoices for all agency bills including new/renewal policies, cancellations, audits, endorsements, and installments.
  • Effectively communicates with AM/Agents regarding any data or policy discrepancies.
  • AREN – Issue letters, certificates, auto id cards for automatic renewal policies, follow up with the carrier, portal, or account manager to make sure that policies have been received.
  • Creates certificates for renewal and new business policies by request of the Account Manager.
  • Forward underwriting follow-up to Agent and Account Manager.

General Office:

  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and them appropriately.
  • Intake payments for visitors
  • Keep the front reception/lobby area organized and clean.
  • Distribute fax/email to Agents/Account Managers/Customer Service.
  • Create Insurance binders.

Other:

  • Possesses a positive, service-oriented attitude towards agents, clients, insureds, and employees within the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to the company’s Attendance Management Policy

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training required; prior P&C insurance experience preferred.
  • Combined education, professional experience, and/or job-related skills equivalent will be considered.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
