Pyramid Technology Solutions, Inc. is Hiring a Human Resources Information System Consultant Near Owings Mills, MD

Job Role: Workday Technical Lead

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Location: Remote

Must Have:

  • Multiple certifications in Workday.
  • Any WD certs will do, but we need multiple certifications.
  • Extensive experience with Workday implementations, changes, upgrades.
  • HM wants to see this experience at multiple companies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implementing changes in Workday
  • Providing recommendations
  • Assess efficiencies
  • Review the status of the implementations
  • Provide cost estimates
  • Guide technical strategy

Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical design and configuration of Workday modules, including but not limited to HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, and Recruiting.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to meet business needs.
  • Design and implement integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems.
  • Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex Workday issues.
  • Troubleshoot integrations, data issues, and system errors.
  • Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation.
  • Provide quality assurance reviews.
  • Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing.
  • Partner with Workday support to escalate and resolve critical problems.
  • Work closely with HR functional teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Partner across technology teams to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Skillset and Qualifications:

  • 10 years relevant Workday experience configuring and deploying in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration capabilities, data model, and security framework. Experience in leading and managing Workday implementations.
  • Certifications (including pro) in relevant areas like Workday HCM, Workday Integrations and others.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Project management and leadership abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with other HRIS systems.
  • Experience in a global organization
