Payroll Specialist for PyroCom Systems – El Paso, TX

PyroCom Systems, Inc is the leading Fire, Security and Low Voltage System designer and installer in the Southwest United States. We are a rapidly growing company looking for a Staff Accountant to join our phenomenal team of experts.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with a wide range of Accounting, Human Resources and Administrative responsibilities to include:

o Weekly Payroll

o Certified Payroll

o Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees

o Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local tax laws, including remittance of payroll taxes

o Processing Payments

o Responding to Clients

Job Requirements:

Ambitious, independent, highly motivated, self-starters with strong people skills, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills, and ability to work closely with others. Working knowledge of QuickBooks is a must along with the ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality. Please see below for more qualifications:

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

• 2 years of payroll / accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred but not required
• Effectively manage time to meet and exceed established goals
• Strong organizational and communications skills
• Superior math skills required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
• Proficient in QuickBooks
