Primary Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and evaluates programs aimed at enhancing the defense capabilities of partner nations.
- Coordinates with various stakeholders, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, U.S. Embassies, and the Joint Staff, to ensure effective program delivery.
- Supports regional security cooperation activities, managing a diverse array of Title 10 and Title 22 programs to support national security goals, and builds international partnerships by providing strategic assessments and recommendations.
- Advances partner nation capacities through training, equipment provision, and technical support, ensuring interoperability with U.S. forces.
- Monitors the success and relevance of training programs and other security cooperation activities, using data and metrics to assess effectiveness.
- Must have an Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field of study
- At least 2 years' of experience as a Defense Security Cooperation Analyst
- Proven experience in conducting research and data analysis, preferably within the context of USG funded programs and projects.
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to details.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
- Experience working with DoD and the Security Cooperation
