QA1 is Hiring a Quality Inspector Near Lakeville, MN

Summary: Executes all aspects of quality control that includes safely inspecting and documenting both incoming and in-process product.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Ability to follow all safety protocols
  • Inspects and dispositions purchased and manufactured products
  • Reports any non-conformances to the Quality Manager and/or Quality Engineer
  • Reads and understands engineering drawings and prints
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education & Experience Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One-year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft applications
  • Ability to interpret drawings
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Professionalism

Preferred experience with the following equipment:

  • Metal testing
  • Calipers
  • Micrometers
  • Optical comparator
  • Coordinate measuring machine
  • Hardness tester
  • Tensile strength tester
  • Dial indicators
  • Vernier scale
  • Height gage
  • Spring rate tester
  • Faro arm
  • Tape measure
  • Vision System
