Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
- Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness in the coffee preparation and dining areas
- Assist in food preparation and handling as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Proficient in math for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
