This role will be responsible for supporting the Program Management Office (PMO) and Senior Program Leadership by overseeing, monitoring, and reporting on program related Risk, Issues and Opportunity (RIO) efforts.Duties/Responsibilities:Provides Program Management Office (PMO) support by overseeing, Identifying, evaluating, reporting, and briefing program risk, issues, and opportunities.Primary program Risk Advisor supporting and working with internal and external stakeholders to collect data to identify root cause of risk related problems, develop risk mitigation strategies, provide recommendations, and support the implementation of solutions.Conduct weekly or monthly internal program and external customer facing Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Board meetings and oversee the completion of resulting action items.Develop and improve program wide risk management strategies and plans to ensure the program is not at risk and adheres to contract cost, schedule, and scope. Facilitates the identification, analysis, development, and documentation of risk process and procedure improvements.Contribute to knowledge management by documenting standard processes, develop workflows, and collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and internal program controls pertaining to Risk Management.Prepare customer deliverables, with attention to detail, that are due periodically to the client to include, but not limited to, RIO reports, charts, and risk analysis.Perform gap assessments, risk assessments on risks and controls, and advise on effective remediation, driving issues to closure.Collaborate throughout the organization by working closely with all the program leads (business, finance, operations, technical and Information security, property management and contracts) to identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, and control potential risks on the program.Conduct program level risk analysis and deliver enterprise level risk reporting to executive leadership through the utilization of program risk register, PowerPoint, and other enterprise reporting tools.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written at different levels of the organization.Partner across the organization in developing and facilitating the review of policies and procedures related to organizational risk management.Required Clearance:TS/SCI with poly (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)Required Qualifications:Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience. Experienced user of Microsoft suite products is a must for this position. Must also have experience working in a team environment within a professional office setting.Ready to join our team?
