SummaryAn experienced Equipment Shift Lead will be responsible for installing and maintaining Wafer equipment at the new QCELLS factory in Cartersville, GA. We are looking for a skilled Equipment Shift Lead to set up, maintain, and operate machinery, including machine improvements. To be successful in this role, you must be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and follow safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity if you are eager to learn, grow, and be willing to learn and improve.
- This position requires to receive training in South Korea for two months. Detailed information will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
- Responsible for tasks related to equipment maintenance
- Installation & improvement of equipment
- Periodic inspection of equipment
- Control and adjust machine settings (Machine calibration, Machine teaching, etc.)
- Manage spare parts inventory and usage of equipment
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Test the operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Maintain activity logs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
- Proven experience as a machine technician.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Relevant license and safety certification.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)
- Teamwork and communication skills
- A positive outlook and a willingness to learn
- Ability to follow orders, especially under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Being a team player is essential since all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers
- Technical degree in electrical and mechanical engineering or related engineering fields is a plus
