Waste & Recycling/Crew MemberDate: January 11, 20204 Reports to: Recycling/EHS Location: Dalton, GA Classification: Hourly SummaryThe Waste & Recycling /Crew Member is responsible for sorting all waste and recycling materials that comes off the Production Line. The Waste & Recycling/Crew Member will learn the different types of Recycle Raw Materials to separate and the different type of Scrap Raw Materials to disposed. This person will also learn how to sort Modules from the Production Line and ensure that No U/L Labels are on the Scrap Modules. Responsibilities
Sort trash, recycling materials from the Production Lines, Kitting Area and Cells Area.
Clean and maintain the outside trash area – around the whole building.
Sort and ID the Scrap Modules
Remove any labels.
Remove batteries.
Remove the Junction Boxes.
Responsible for cleaning up broken pallets when the Pre-Crusher is removed from the Receiver.
Responsible for sorting the Brown Paper from the Production Lines
Responsible for draining the CREVO and the Flux in the assigned black drum ID as Dangerous Goods Containers
EHS will provide training once a year on this process.

Load bale Brown Papers onto the Trailer
Load Plastic Trailer
Load GERDAU truck
Cells
Busbars
Wires
Cans
Responsible for sorting the Metals into the Gerdau Open Tops
Responsible for packing the CREVO Tins for Recycle
All associates will be trained and certified to work the Baler Machine,
All associates will be trained and certified on the Forklift.
Once a Year the team will go through a Safety training
Assist team with weighting the pallets for shipments and documented the weights prior to shipment.
Will assist the team with strapping the pallets prior to shipments.
All associates will be train on BOL Process
Bale All Plastics: Blue, White, Black, Beige
Bale Brown Papers
Trained to use the PET Chopper for the PET Green Straps and Metal Straps
All associates will be trained on the Styrofoam Densifier Machine Process
All Styrofoam from Eagle 1 will be transfer to Eagle 2 & 3 Building
Separate all Aluminum Cans for the Gerdau small blue containers.
Train drivers to drive the Forklift Tugger for Transportation between the buildings.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Driving a Forklift- 1-year experience
Baler Machine experience – 1-year experience or open for training
Ability to work in fast pace environment.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing process
Ability to work as a Team Member
Physical Requirements
Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction
Ability to stand and be on feet for up to 12 hours
