SummaryThe General Superintendent, Foundations will manage the various project team members as it relates to foundations. Establish standards, training, leadership training for the execution team. This position reports to the Director of Projects, or another management personnel that the Presidentmay designate. This position is located in Irvine, CA and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. Overtime and weekend working hours may be required as needed. This position is expected to travel up to 100%. Essential Job Function & Responsibilities
Manage superintendents through planning and execution of foundation install activities across multiple projects
Assist in developing detailed CPM schedules for all installation activities and in developing a schedule of values to aid the billing process
Coordinate activities, schedule, material procurement, project logistics, manpower and equipment
Review contract documents and make improvements suggestions as needed
Supervise, review, and coordination of submittals and shop drawings
Collaborate with team members when necessary to ensure effective communication and results;
Provide cost estimation, including but not limited to:
Site Due Diligence–Evaluate potential project sites as part of development due diligence
Identify and project costs related to time, materials, and labor
Track actual costs and assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, services, or equipment
Cost reporting–Prepare reports regarding the current status of a project to show estimated costs, revenues, and project timeline
Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management
Required Qualifications
7 years experience in a supervisory role
Proven track record as a Superintendent on large projects
Thorough knowledge of Construction Code
General understanding of building codes, mechanical codes, electrical codes, and plumbing codes as they relate to construction of project
Experience dealing with subcontracts and subcontractors
Minimum of 2 years of solar PV project experience, preferred
Ability to travel, up to 75% of the time
Industrial relations knowledge for recognizing and resolving potential labor issues
Knowledge of Company construction guides and manuals
Constructability Knowledge within other disciplines such as Civil, Electrical, HV electrical, SCADA, BESS, Estimating
Risk Assessment/Management
Cost Code Labor Productivity Systems
Time Reporting Policies and Procedures
Construction Guides and Standards
Knowledge in Microsoft office tools
Fluent in written and spoken English; other language skills are a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Lead team meetings over conference calls

SALARY RANGE FOR POSITION The anticipated starting pay range of this position, which is to be located in Irvine, CA is $ 130,000 - $ 160,000 base salary per year. The above-listed salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. The salary range shared in the job description is for the listed position and only pertains to the candidate if they work in Irvine, CA. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications. An additional discretionary bonus structure or incentives may be offered as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
